Virtual Web Application Development Internship

Use your IT skills in the USA while serving an international organization. Get practical experience with current business techniques and processes. Experience shadowing, mentoring, and training opportunities with successful professionals while participating in an international community—helping invite others to the work God is doing worldwide. 

Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop a new Microsoft PowerApps application based on elements from existing OMUSA PowerApps utilizing full-cycle application development methodologies (from requirement through deployment)
  • You will interact cross-department to gather requirements, validate design, deploy and provide training.
  • You will create technical and user documentation with the assistance of a business analyst
  • You will utilize Microsoft PowerApps studio to create the new app (existing apps can be used as a reference)

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Familiar with basic coding (Visual Basic a plus)
  • Highly detail-oriented (both coding and visual design)
  • Good communication skills

Additional Info:
  • All interns must formally accept and abide by OM USA’s Statement of Faith for the duration of the internship
  • Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters

Supervisor Qualifications:
  • As an intern, you will work directly for members of the OM management team, who have experience both in the corporate world in their field, as well as in international nonprofits. You will receive vocational mentoring from senior-level OM staff, as well as monthly meetings with OM Vice Presidents.

Accreditation:
  • Degree Credit available upon the approval of your university/college supervisors.
