Finance Intern

I. Job Summary    
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working with the entire Finance team, this position will provide financial support for The Dollywood Company. Responsibilities include financial planning and analysis, research projects related to company activity, variance analysis and performance measurement. All of this will be done in a manner consistent with the mission, values and operating philosophies and standards of the Dollywood Company.
 
II. Summary of Major Duties & Responsibilities
 
·      Prepare scenario analyses using parameters provided by leadership
·      Conduct research using economic drivers to analyze business performance and/or development
·      Identify opportunities to automate and improve reporting and analysis
·      Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports and making presentations of findings, analysis, and recommendations
·      Assist in creation of templates or models used to analyze business performance
·      Provide various ad hoc analysis and reporting as required

Management reserves the right to change and/or add to these duties at any time.
 
III. Educational and Experience Requirements
  • Enrollment in Bachelor degree program with major study of Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics or Economics
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Innovative team player who can multitask and work independently
  • Strong logical and analytical problem solving skills
  • Valid Tennessee driver’s license and proof of insurance is required
