Communications and Research Intern
Whiteboard Advisors is seeking a top-notch intern to join us part-time (up to 29 hours a week). This is a paid internship opportunity for a college student or recent graduate who is motivated to learn more about research, communications, and education and workforce policy.
At Whiteboard Advisors, our interns are a valuable part of our team. They monitor the media for breaking news and relevant commentary, assist with media research and outreach, support the planning and execution of events, and conduct research on public policy and market issues. The small size of our firm allows interns to work closely with senior team members and provides opportunities for substantive work. The salary for the internship ranges from $21 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have strong research abilities, a keen attention to detail, excellent writing skills, and the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous office environment experience and a major in communications, public relations, journalism or political science is preferred, but not required.
- Interest in education (K-12, higher ed, or lifelong learning) or the future of work is also preferred.
