  • This internship is for credit only
  • This spring internships is 15 weeks long and a max of 20 hours a week
  • Spring internships start January 23th and end May 12th

We’re headquartered in beautiful Stamford, CT. If you’re commuting by train, we offer a shuttle that runs to and from the Stamford train station. 
The operations & logistics Intern will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations within their designated department, providing support to other departments as needed, as well as handling administrative tasks.
You Will: 
  • Provide daily report to operations team for all outbound orders from day highlighting any aged orders
  • Manage priority requests between Customer Care and Geodis team
  • Ensure Geodis distributes all orders efficiently while meeting contractual SLAs
  • Partner with Operations team to streamline receiving processes, manage volume increases, and SKU slotting
  • Drive any necessary changes in the business to conform distribution best practices
  • Work with web team to support shipping schedules and cut offs for holidays or blackout periods
  • Maintain proper inventory levels for all packaging materials with support of our packaging vendors
  • Partner with Retail Operations and Logistics to schedule carriers for new store openings
  • Work with Geodis transportation to ensure best practices for LTL deliveries to retail and outlet stores
  • Partner with Wholesale Operations as contact for any warehouse related chargebacks. Work with Geodis team to articulate problems and correct go forward
  • Support the vendor compliance task force as it relates to reporting, information flow, and process change
  • Provide analytic KPIs for operational target controls
What you bring: 
  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in supply chain or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong data management skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to work independently and with a team
  • Strong organizational and time management 
  • Effectively communicate in written and verbal form
  • Strong knowledge of vineyard vines mission and product line (preferred)
