Looking for a fun job on campus? We are currently accepting applications to become a University Ambassador for the 2022/23 academic year! We are looking for passionate students to share their honest stories and experiences at UNCA with prospective students and their guests.
As student leaders, the Ambassadors provide campus visitors a broad view of the UNC Asheville experience by welcoming them to the university, leading campus tours, and assisting potential students in discerning whether or not UNCA will be the best fit for continuing their education.
The perks of being an ambassador:
- Starting pay is $10 an hour. $1 pay raise per academic year in the program.

- An updated resume added within the application
- One professional or academic reference
The eligibility to become an ambassador is as follows:
- Ambassadors must be enrolled as a full-time student
- Ambassadors must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Ambassadors must be in good judicial standing with the Office of Student Affairs
- Ambassadors must be available to work for at least one full semester
- Ambassadors must be in at least their second semester as a student at UNC Asheville
