Video/Media Production Internship

Video/Media Production Internship Description:
Snap! Mobile, Inc. is revolutionizing how youth programs fundraise, grow, and impact participants and communities. Our studio team is seeking a part-time video and media production intern to work roughly 20 hours a week for a 3 or 6-month internship. The primary focus of this internship will be post-production on documentary-style video projects for web and social media.
 
Requirements:  
·     Must be skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro CC
·     Knowledge of graphic creation (Ps, Ae, Canva)
·     Exceptional organizational skills
·     Ability to work independently and with studio team to complete assigned tasks
·     Ability + interest in creating and following a post-production project plans and process
·     Demonstrated knowledge in video/photo field production process preferred but not required

Qualifications:  
·     Enrolled in college full-time at undergraduate level:
o  Preferred Majors: Film/TV Production, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or similar program
·     1-2 years of experience working with editing platforms and videography/photography
·     Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
 
Responsibilities:
·     Complete pre-editing tasks such as transcription of interviews and logging video
·     Assemble video footage to script or story outline and company guidelines
·     Finalize edits via sound mixing, color correction, graphics implementation, etc.
·     Research story ideas/background info on projects
·     Create documentary style scripts and story outlines
·     Assist studio team in developing content
·     Video and photo media management
 
This is a REMOTE position
 
Intern Program Description:
Our studio team functions remotely and maintains standard business hours from Monday through Friday (7AM to 5PM Pacific). Scheduling for interns is flexible based on availability. Applicants are welcome from anywhere in the US. Seattle residents are welcome to work from our South Seattle location if interested. You will work with your department manager and the internship coordinator to ensure your internship with us is a beneficial learning experience.
