  • Tax Intern Position Summary:
  • As a Fox Factory Tax Intern, you will be exposed to various tax procedures including corporate tax strategy, tax provision preparation, and tax return preparation which will involve tax research, tax planning and preparation of supporting workpapers on various projects. You will work alongside Company Executives, Senior Directors, and Senior Tax Analysts as a member of the corporate tax team. Additionally, you will have an opportunity to learn new skillsets, be involved in the Fox community, and build lasting relationships with members of the Fox Factory Team.
  • Position Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, researching, and assessing various tax issues while also providing information to Senior Tax Analysts and Senior Tax Director.
  • Support the preparation of the Tax section of SEC Filings, including reports on Form 10-Q and 8-K.
  • Reviewing/inputting financial data into supporting workpapers for Corporate, Sales and Use, and International Tax compliance.
  • Collaboratively working with external service providers while building rapport and strong relationships with external service team. 
  • Identifying and carrying out other projects as assigned.
  • Meeting with your mentor for regular feedback and professional development discussions.
  • Responding to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
  • Networking with peers and individuals at the Company.
  • Participating in team-building exercises.
  • Sharpening your leadership skills.
  • Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

  • Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated project management skillset including project planning and time management. Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong PC skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent organization skills and keen attention to detail is a must.

  • Position Qualifications:
  • Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.  Enrolled in a college/university degree program.  Some positions may require pre-requisite college courses. 
  • Experience:
  • 0 – 2 years of experience with previous internship programs or general work experience. 
  • Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
  • Office or production/manufacturing environment depending on assignment
  • May be required to lift 20 lbs. frequently
  • May be required to walk, stand, sit, bend and/or lift for long periods of time.
  • May require vision abilities to validate and enter data on computer.
