Mid-Level Systems Engineer Level 3 (00000299697 )

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Mid -Lead System Engineering Level 3 in Oklahoma City.

The role requires the ability to understand the interrelationships of all aspects in a system, including the impact of changes in one area to other areas.
The individual must be enthusiastic and engaging, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Some travel may be required, and may be for extended periods of time.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES      
Duties will include but not limited to:
Providing technical leadership to integrate cross-functional engineering tasks
Coordinating plans for engineering activities, resources, and events from proposal through delivery
Development and maintenance of Customer and Supplier statement of work (SOW)
Evaluation of risks, issues, and opportunities in collaboration with IPT
Primary contact to internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities include
  • Providing technical leadership to integrate cross-functional engineering tasks
  • Coordinating plans for engineering activities, resources, and events from proposal through delivery
  • Development and maintenance of Customer and Supplier statement of work (SOW)
  • Evaluation of risks, issues, and opportunities in collaboration with IPT
  • Primary contact to internal and external stakeholders

Work Authorization:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active security clearance
  • Experience  with Systems Engineering Principles
  • Experience with FAA MCDA STC projects
  • Experience using digital engineering tools including Cameo, MentorCapital, DOORS, and 3DExperience
