Campaign Finance Intern

The Ideal Candidate
We’re on the hunt for a remote highly motivated accounting and finance intern who is dynamic, proactive and energetic. You love accounting but you aren’t just into numbers, you're passionate about making a difference in people's lives.
 
You should feel comfortable with working remotely.

Responsibilities
  • Support month-end closing processes by helping to prepare support for account reconciliations and analysis.
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with FEC regulations.
  • Assist with the documentation and implementation of various internal controls.
  • Design, implement and participate in projects and activities which support the top and bottom-line growth of the organization.

Requisites
  • Bachelor's degree in progress, focusing on Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
  • Passion for understanding processes and continuous process improvement.
  • Enthusiastic and shows an intense enjoyment and interest in accounting matters.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of carrying out given tasks independently.
  • Seeks feedback and perspective from others; knows when to ask for help and guidance.

At the end of the internship period, you may have the opportunity to explore positions with the organization.
