SECU Life Insurance Representative
Be part of an innovative and forward-thinking group of individuals that make a difference. Provide exceptional service to members and branch employees by managing and responding to incoming calls and email inquiries. Assist members with life insurance policy and annuity contract inquiries such as change requests, billing questions, underwriting and claims. Work on projects to help further develop departmental processes and procedures. Become an insurance expert and effectively transfer that knowledge to others. Help members obtain life insurance coverage through the Credit Union. This position is entry level with potential for some remote work after the licensing and training period is complete.
Four year degree required. Must obtain all 4 NC Insurance Licenses within 6 months of being hired. Must have a high degree of skill in written and verbal communication and have a genuine concern for the welfare of members. Must have strong multi-tasking and organization skills. Must be able to cooperate and collaborate with co-workers. Must be willing and able to commute to Raleigh, NC.
