St. Gerard House provides a wide array of programs and support for families, caretakers, teachers, therapists and others who are integral parts of the life of an individual with autism. We are hiring entry level Behavior Technicians.
 
In our center based setting, the Behavior Technician will provide direct teaching and behavioral support to individuals with unique learning needs and will work 1:1 with a child with special needs under the close supervision and guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

·        Keeping our clients safe and engaged
·        Helping those with autism reach their full potential through Applied Behavior Analysis therapy
·        Keeping the lesson plans fun and inviting
·        Communicating and collaborating with the clinical team and parents
·        Working in a team to help the clients gain skills and experiences in a heart centered environment
 
How will I know if my experience is a good fit?
Do you . . .
·        Have experience in a field of study related to human services (education, psychology, communication disorders, sociology, or other) and/or have experience working with children with disabilities. ABA experience is not required, but preferred.
·        Are you punctual and reliable?
·        Are you creative, animated, and can make learning fun while sticking to procedures.
·        Have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Education, Psychology, or Associate's Degree in related field preferred. High school diploma required.
