If you are you looking to take your communications, design, and multimedia skills to the next level while looking to build up your portfolio, then we have an opportunity for you!
We are looking for a Communications and Media Intern to join the Creative team at Sarilla Sparkling. In this role you will support the creation and implementation of branding and communications tools for both print and digital formats. This support will range across all Sarilla products by creating print production; web, email and social media graphics; event signage and POS; posters, flyers and a variety of other creative tasks as assigned. You will be engaging with our target demographic to grow and inspire our audience.
We are looking for a creative thinker who is skilled at taking Sarilla concepts and bringing them to life in a unique way.
This intern role could be for class credit and we will offer a monthly stipend according to local student wage guidelines. You will be working directly with our founder, Sara.
A typical day as a Sarilla Intern may include:
- Creating designs, concepts and layouts within the Adobe Creative Suite
- Bringing internal stakeholders’ visions to life using effective ad engaging visuals
- Communicating and engaging with our online audience. This could be using graphics, video content, blogs, and other material as directed, with some creative freedom
- Supporting sales team on our digital selling platforms
- Assisting our founder in special projects
- Creating / editing retail displays
- Assisting in the creation/development of social media content and designs
Does this sound like you?
- Must be enrolled in a communications / media / graphic design or related field of study
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Must have a passion for all things creative
- Previous experience in a graphic design role will be considered an asset
- Experience working on sales, event or marketing related materials
- Detail orientated
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Open minded and have a willingness to learn
