Academic Success Center Student Assistant

Job Description  
The ASC Assistant is the first point of contact for the offices of the Academic Success Center. Assistants are familiar with the general functions of each office and the personnel responsible for those functions. The ASC offices include:
  • Office of the Registrar 
  • Academic Advising
  • Academic Accessibility 
  • Study Abroad
  • Student Accounts 

Job Duties         
  • Greet students, staff, faculty, visitors to the ASC
  • Determine the office/staff person who can best assist the individual
  • Escort individuals to offices, meeting rooms
  • Answer phones and performs other basic office tasks
  • Provide general information & referrals for in-person & phone queries 
  • Disperse & accept forms as needed 
  • Perform office opening & closing procedures
  • Assist with check-in/check-out for OAA proctoring
  • Assist with filing and document scanning
  • Assist with special duties & projects as assigned by ASC staff
