Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Summer Associate

The Role
The Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Summer Associate will assist the ESG Council in research of, and creation of the Company’s ESG report. The ESG Summer Associate assignment will complete an estimated eight-week assignment
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the research of ESG standards and make a recommendation to the ESG Council on a proposed ESG framework for the Company
  • Assist with the development, collection, verification, and reporting of all internally and externally reported ESG data and disclosures
  • Assist with formulating, drafting, and presenting the Company's sustainability report
  • Perform other ad-hoc research and tasks as requested by management and ownership
Preferred Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Economics/Finance/or other related field of study 
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
