The Role
The Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) intern position will be focused on supporting CCR’s EPC contracting team, supply chain, and construction management teams in functions including pre-construction analysis and project management from late-stage development through construction completion of solar projects.
 

Location
This position will be remote.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Establish user friendly and easily maintainable database synthesizing historical bid and cost data.
  • Present database work product and analysis of data to CCR’s executive team at conclusion of Summer internship.
  • Work efficiently with multiple project teams on day-to-day project work, actively generating own work, networking internally and externally.
  • Assist as needed in the review and analysis of project bids from third-party EPC Contractors, pre-construction evaluation of projects, contract review, and third-party EPC contract compliance through construction.
  • Organize, read, interpret, and understand project documentation including environmental and engineering reports, surveys and construction drawings, EPC contracts
 
Qualifications
  • Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, or structural engineering; construction management; or related field
  • Well versed in Microsoft Excel including index-match, v lookup
  • Interest in renewable energy
  • Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment
  • Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
  • Creative problem-solving and ability to work independently
