Rotational Development Program Overview
Are you looking for a program that offers on-the-job experience? Are you considering a future with Constellation or looking to expand your area of knowledge within Constellation Supply Planning? The Rotational Development Program (RDP) is designed to advance your growth and develop invaluable insight into the End to End Supply Planning process. Our goal is to prepare you for a future in Supply Planning by providing you with functional experiences that enables you to learn, contribute, and integrate with our organization.

During this two-year program, you will perform relevant assignments in three, eight-month rotations within the functional departments of Grape and Wine Planning, Finished Goods Supply Planning, and Sales and Operations Execution. Each rotation provides a well-rounded exposure/experience that includes on-the-job and leadership responsibilities, while learning more about the overall wine business. Included in the rotations will be presentations about key learning to Senior Leadership. Read more below about what you can learn and demonstrate in each rotation.

Responsibilities:

Grape and Wine Planning
  • Gain insight to vintage planning process including wine management, long-term grape supply, and winery capacity planning
  • Provide analysis support for long-term strategies to secure grape and wine supply

Finished Goods Supply Planning
  • Generate reporting to communicate finished good inventory, production, and supply availability
  • Provide analytical insights to manage obsolescence inventory risk and safety stock thresholds
  • Identify supply reporting opportunities to better communicate our supply performance to the business
  • Spend 3 weeks with Demand Planning to understand our forecasting process and how we engage with our commercial partners in the S&OP process

Sales and Operations Execution
  • Provide reporting and analysis to proactively identify expected supply risks
  • Coordinate with key Commercial and Operations partners to strategically manage finished good supply
  • Communicate supply risks and mitigation plans to Operations leadership and commercial teams
  • Develop meeting content to help facilitate S&OE and S&OP supply strategy discussions, including order to cash cycle time

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Seeking 2020-2021 grad with Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Wine/Ag Business, Data Science, Finance or related field.
  • Robust time management, organization, and project management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines
  • Creativity and strategic thinking skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Geographic flexibility within California (for post program placement)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6 months or more of applicable experience
  • Internship experience
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Demonstrated teamwork experience

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
  • Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods. Lifting may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Work Environment:
