Mechanical Engineer - Production

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer for our new manufacturing plant in Asheville, NC! Training will take place in Cheney, WA and Richmond, BC for one year, total.
This is a very hands-on engineering position, if you are looking for a desk job, keep looking.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Continuous process design, improvement and analysis
  • Project management
  • Product testing including; fan vibration, airflow, unit casing leakage and deflection, and sound
  • Liaison between design engineering and production
  • Quality Control -Development, programming and testing of new parts
  • Trouble shooting throughout fabrication
  • Serving as a technical resource to production staff, customers and sales

  • capable of effectively managing changing priorities
  • are self-motivated
  • thrive in an extremely fast paced and changing environment
  • understand lean manufacturing principal
  • have a high level of mechanical aptitude
  • are a strong proponent of continuous change
  • enjoy spending time on the production floor
  • have a degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • have experience in Manufacturing Engineering Work
  • intern experience in manufacturing or construction project management
