Weatherization Program Technician Assistant

Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Energy Director, the Weatherization Program Technician, is responsible for conducting Quality Assurance Reviews of Weatherization programmatic files, service, and systems to ensure agency meets highest standards for clients, employees, and other stakeholders. Employee is expected to know and understand the quality standards as applied to program records, operations, systems, etc. Employee must be able to articulate verbally and in writing required reports, correspondence, and processes under the direction of the supervisor. Employee is expected to display honesty and integrity in the performance of all duties. Scheduled reports are expected to be prepared accurately and within the time constraints. Employee is expected to treat customers with due respect.

Specific Job Duties
1.        Conducts quality assurance reviews of Weatherization files in accordance with a prepared schedule. Completes appropriate checklist. Communicates significant issues identified during quality assurance activities. Prepares report of findings, concerns and recommendations.
2.        Ensures relevant information is accurately entered into various databases.
3.       Collaborates with team members in analyzing computer data. Ensures all required fields are complete and accurate prior to submitting reports to grantor.
4.        Reconciles WAP invoices regularly as they are submitted. Report discrepancies to supervisor.
 5.        Conducts WAP Customer Service Survey, compiles responses, and reports findings to supervisor. Follows up on all complaints quarterly.
6.        Maintains/updates process for logging, reporting, and resolving customer complaints.
7.        Assist Program Director in responding to complaints. Conducts intake, investigates allegation, interviews potential witnesses, and prepares report on findings with recommendations.
8.        Systematically track the status of county inspections of mechanical systems and relevant weatherization work.
9.        Work with the State Historical Preservation Office to acquire approval of work conducted on homes in historical areas.
10.       Provide administrative support to remote staff as directed by supervisor.
11.       Generate case specific mailings to clients, contractors, and other relevant parties as needed.
 12.       Tracks corrective action plans and prepares progress report to Program Director.

Education
Associate’s Degree (two year college or technical school) in Office Administration, Business Administration or related field is preferred.
 
Experience
One year related experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education or training.
 
SKILLS & ABILITIES
  Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office and Google Suites
Applicant must possess computer proficiency that enables learning specific program software within 30 days of hire.

  Certificates & Licenses
It is the employee's responsibility to obtain and keep current all certifications, training, licenses, health cards, etc., at all times.

Individual must be able to work independently without close supervision but with a diverse group of people.
 
 A strong commitment to accuracy and confidentiality is required.

 Must be detail oriented, a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
 
 Superior oral and written communication skills are essential to success in this job.
 
 Must have the capacity to complete projects on schedule and independently.
