We are currently looking for interns to work with our Assurance Services and Tax & Business Services teams starting in January 2021.  Our most successful hires show initiative in an extremely dynamic environment and have been resourceful, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.   
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
 
  • Audit – perform audit procedures to test internal controls and year-end balances 
  • Audit – work directly with our clients as a member of the engagement team 
  • Tax – work directly with our clients as a member of the tax team 
  • Tax – prepare individual and corporate income tax returns 
  • Additional responsibilities assigned as necessary 
 
Qualifications: 
 
  • Rising junior or above majoring in accounting  
  • Major and overall minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 
  • The willingness and ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week (actual hours worked can range from 15-40 hours per week depending on intern availability) 
  • The willingness and ability to travel, as needed, to various client sites within the state of South Carolina beginning in May or after the school year ends. 
 
Required Skills: 
 
  • Excellent analytical, communication, computer, and interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word 
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a complex and dynamic team environment
