Intern
We are currently looking for interns to work with our Assurance Services and Tax & Business Services teams starting in January 2021. Our most successful hires show initiative in an extremely dynamic environment and have been resourceful, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Audit – perform audit procedures to test internal controls and year-end balances
- Audit – work directly with our clients as a member of the engagement team
- Tax – work directly with our clients as a member of the tax team
- Tax – prepare individual and corporate income tax returns
- Additional responsibilities assigned as necessary
Qualifications:
- Rising junior or above majoring in accounting
- Major and overall minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
- The willingness and ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week (actual hours worked can range from 15-40 hours per week depending on intern availability)
- The willingness and ability to travel, as needed, to various client sites within the state of South Carolina beginning in May or after the school year ends.
Required Skills:
- Excellent analytical, communication, computer, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a complex and dynamic team environment
