Resident Assistants are student members of the Residential Education staff and are under direct supervision of an Area Director. Responsibilities include the areas of peer mentoring, programming, policy enforcement, being a resource, and the day to day community development of a particular hall in the residence hall. Residents are representatives of the University, and should be a good role model at all times on and off campus.

The RA application will close based on the number of applications. The anticipated close date is Friday, October 16 at 11:59PM. Applications submitted after this deadline will not be considered. In order to be considered for this position, you need: 

(1) a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 [which also needs to be maintained throughout the period of employment if hired],
(2) to have lived on-campus for at least one [1] semester, AND
(3) demonstrated leadership skills that speak to your ability to be an effective RA/PA.

Applicants will receive an update on their application status on Monday, October 19th by 5:00 PM. If you are selected to participate in our interview process, you will need to attend a mandatory informational meeting on Tuesday, October 20th at 9:00 PM. 

Pay:
New Resident Assistants will be paid $1720.00 each per semester and will receive a significantly discounted room rate (flat room rate of $2,500 per semester in the Woods and $1,830 per semester in all other residential areas).
