eCommerce Marketing Intern
Sunnyside Trading Co, is a home furnishings and art importer from India, Thailand, China, and North Africa. Our inventory exists of global antiques, vintage rugs and textiles, architectural elements, Eastern spiritual statuary, and tribal/nomadic art. We are looking for a tech-savvy eCommerce Marketing Intern, who will support the product requirements and site management as it relates to the development, launch, and day-to-day website operations. This is a position that requires maximum attention to details, flexibility, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for eCommerce and global arts, as well as an appreciation (can be learned) of our one-of-a-kind products. We basically need someone who can work 10-15 hours per week helping us upload our vast inventory onto sales platforms, and while experience doing this would be nice, it is something we can teach to a hard worker with computer skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the digital product catalog by adding new products to the site and updating existing product data, including product titles, descriptions, images, and all other applicable product attributes
- Ensure that all site product content is current, relevant, and accurate
- Complete data entry to ensure products are available across all channels
- Categorize, input, sort products on the website
- Background data entry on products to ensure products are available across all channels
- Help during product photography shootsÂ
Requirements:
- Strong Computer Aptitude - must be quick to learn new programs and techniques
- Must be a team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Needs to be dependable and able to handle work responsibilities
- Able to take direction and communicate effectively
- Ensure that brand aesthetics are maintained across all sales and marketing channels
