ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST II

This is a Temporary-Hourly Seasonal Position that is expected to start in the month of October.
7 Positions Available!
Hours Varies but not to exceed 40/wwk unless extenuating circumstances.
Administrative Specialist II's will provide administrative support for immunization services related to School Located Vaccination Clinics (SLVC) throughout the Upstate Region.
Duties to include the following:
I. Provides Client Services:
a. Meets, interviews, and directs public health clients per program policies.
b. Processes information, completes medical record, completes clinic packets and updates client profile in Client Automated Encounter System (CARES).
c. Enters all client information into applicable electronic applications to include CARES, Private Pay, and others.
d. Answers telephone and schedules appointments, as needed.
e. Screens and updates eligibility based on program requirements/guidelines.
f. Adheres to Third Party/Private Pay policies when applicable.
g. Assists with other tasks related to School Located Vaccination Clinics.
MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
State Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma.
