Staff Accountant

The Accounting and Finance team work closely together and with all departments to help achieve and exceed organizational goals. We provide support to all senior management. Our current focus is on growing the brand by expanding corporately owned restaurants and adding franchise partners that share our passion for providing good food at reasonable prices in a clean and friendly environment.

This person will report directly to the Accounting Supervisor. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): assisting with the period-end close, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and preparing financial statements. The candidate will also be required to assist with audit fieldwork and other various ad-hoc assignments. This position has lots of room for growth and advancement. · Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required

· 1+ years’ experience as staff accountant

· CPA or CPA track

· Experience with ERP systems (GP preferred)

· Working knowledge of Excel (familiar with vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)

· Strong problem solving and analytical skills

· Ability to work independently and within a team environment

· Completing the period-end close

· Reconciling the entire balance sheet each period

· Filing Sales tax through the Avalara System monthly

· Compiling and distributing financial statements

· Work with division managers on KPI reporting

· Assisting with Audit Fieldwork
