Community Outreach and Engagement Coordinator

The Community Outreach and Engagement Coordinator will engage the community, both urban and rural, in activities and programs through media, communications, and volunteer management.
 
The Coordinator will support community engagement projects across the organization.  
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, creative and will have experience in community engagement, partnership development, outdoor recreation, and creative storytelling. Experience in social media and tools like Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc. are valuable. Excellent verbal and written skills required. The member will gain experience working with non-profits, business, government, and community partners across Tennessee.

This AmeriCorps participant is part of a 23-member national service cohort that builds nonprofit capacity through a partnership between Hands On Nashville and participating AmeriCorps host sites. Members receive skills training, professional development, and networking opportunities throughout their yearlong term.
