Serve Louisiana helps create positive change by partnering talented young leaders with community-based organizations across South Louisiana. An 11-month commitment is all we ask, and in return, we promise a time of intense personal and professional growth that will prepare you well for whatever’s next.

This isn’t an internship where you’ll push papers or run errands — it’s real, challenging work that helps nonprofits, public schools, grassroots efforts and community initiatives build their capacity to serve. As a member, you’ll serve onsite with your partner as a Volunteer Coordinator, Technology & Social Media Coordinator, Program Outreach & Community Awareness Coordinator or Program Development Coordinator. And you’ll gain solid experience while making valuable professional contacts across the community in areas of public health, coastal and environmental preservation, youth development and education, and community development.
