News Desk Summer Intern
TMZ is the leading source for celebrity and entertainment news. We’re looking for energetic, self-motivated students with a passion for celebrity news to join our Summer Internship Program. As an Intern at TMZ, you will be exposed to the many facets of newsgathering, TV production, and digital content creation. Our interns are hands-on and directly contribute to the production process at TMZ. You’ll have an opportunity to learn from senior staffers and will directly participate in our newsgathering process.
We are currently searching for News Desk Interns to assist with organizational projects, research, calling sources (with prior approval), and other general news-gathering duties. Interns must also be available for the duration of our Summer 2020 Program which begins in June and ends in August.
This is a paid internship program.
Please see below for required criteria – Interns must meet all 6 criteria below for consideration:
- Be available for the entire internship session, as outlined above.
- Be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, in the form of two or more 10-hour days per week.
- Be comfortable with a work shift which begins at 6:00AM PST.
- Be in their junior or senior year of college.
- A strong interest in social media and investigative reporting.
- This internship will be done remotely. YOU MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO WORK FROM HOME.
