Human Resources Summer Intern

As a member of our HR team you will be on the frontlines supporting a Hartford Courant Top Workplace and a growing organization!

The Human Resources Associate will support the human resources function. Our ideal candidate would be a recent graduate interested in growing their career in human resources. There is potential for this position to be filled by a rising senior as an internship.

 
The Temporary Human Resources Associate will be responsible for assisting in general task such as:
  • Coordination of recruitment activities including interview scheduling
  • Assisting in sourcing candidates for open roles
  • Employee leave management support
  • Maintaining HRIS analytics
  • Assisting with execution of summer internship program
  • Manage employee recognition program
  • Point of contact for employee requests
  • Support of HR initiatives and projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or Business – completed or currently enrolled
  • Prior internship experience in human resources or business preferred
  • Attention to detail with heavy focus on quality of deliverables
  • Ability to work on multiple projects
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have exceptional oral, written and interactive communication skills
  • Knowledge of key human resources practices such as: Onboarding, recruitment and total rewards
  • Experience working with a CRM and applicant tracking system would be awesome
