Homestead Internship

Come participate and learn on a working homestead. We will be working in the dirt growing flowers, fruit trees, herbs, and veggies. Working with compost systems and compost toilets. Solar system setup for a tiny home. Creating rainwater cistern systems that are gravity fed. There will be a lot of hands on activities and learning. The dirty work will be identifying weeds and clearing, hauling dirt and mulch, digging holes and moving some fencing. But the rewards will be great! Come away with first hand knowledge on lots of different edible and medicinal plants. Have some fresh produce to use for your own home cooking. Learn about water conservation and solar energy. Grow in your own path to being totally sustainable.
