Children’s Exposure Research Associate at EPA

The EPA Environmental Research and Business Support Program is recruiting a Children’s Exposure Research Associate with the Office of Research and Development at the EPA facility in Research Triangle Park, NC. The Research Assistant will provide support through data management, curation, and analysis for EPA’s Children’s Chemical Exposure Research. The job is expected to begin March 2018.

·       $33.87 per hour, 25-30 hours per week;

·       Have obtained or currently working toward a PhD for exposure science, chemistry, cheminformatics, environmental science, a physical science, or a related field;

·       Must have experience in chromatographic mass spectrometry, quality control, mechanical maintenance, and analytical instruments ; and

·       Will perform tasks such as using MassHunter, MassProfiler, and ChemStation software, processing, checking and analyzing data, and quality control data processing.

It may be possible to incorporate this data research into the candidate’s thesis documents.
