viagogo are looking for a talented graduate to join us as part of our Finance Engineering Team. Working within Technology and maintaining a close relationship with Finance will allow you to quickly develop a set of uniquely valuable skills.

What To Expect
The Finance Engineering Team at viagogo is designed to rapidly equip you with all the skills you need to be a core member of a department that sits at the very heart of our business, requiring you have a deep understanding of our business, our financial operations, and our engineering team.

You will be based in our US office in the heart of Manhattan, NY, but as we are an international company, you will also work closely with our international teams in Europe and Asia.

Working with a group of talented engineers your first 12 weeks will be dedicated to quickly building a strong level of skills in the core technologies we use, specifically SQL, Excel, and Power BI. You'll be mentored by senior staff who will ensure you get the support & guidance you need.

Within six months you'll have built a strong understanding of our business operations & financial practices, and be directly contributing to larger projects including preparation of Audit & Tax data, cash reconciliation & treasury reporting, and operational reporting.

By the end of your first year you'll be capable of independently executing on projects with different business units, serving as the go-to resource to ensure that new features are being implemented in a way which ensures we're capturing timely and accurate financial data.

What We Expect

This a full-time role with a strong emphasis on rapidly putting you in a position of enormous responsibility. You'll be expected to work hard, put in a lot of effort learning diverse concepts in the fields of accounting, finance, engineering/technology, and our core business. While we'll provide you with all the training you need in order to succeed, we expect you to:
  • Have an excellent level of written & spoken English
  • Have a strong work ethic and a high level of motivation
  • Have experience with SQL or other programming language
  • Have a true interest in finance/analytics
  • Have a track record of/desire to master technology
  • Have demonstrated a superior attention to detail
  • Be a recent graduate (or in your final year of study, expecting to receive a minimum 3.2 GPA)
